Medical University of the Americas – Nevis (MUA) is a for-profit medical school located in Whitehall, Nevis in the Caribbean. The university confers upon its graduates the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.[1] MUA is owned by R3 Education, Inc.[2]

The MD program at MUA is a 10 semester course of study that consists of three semesters per calendar year. Semesters 1-5 are basic sciences semesters that are completed at the university's Nevis campus:

Semesters 6-10 consist of 72 weeks of clinical training at hospitals in the United States.[3]
MUA is accredited by the St Kitts-Nevis Accreditation Board.[4] The university is listed in the FAIMER International Medical Education Directory (IMED)[1] and in the AVICENNA Directory for medicine.[5]
MUA is approved by the New York State Education Department for clinical training, residency, and licensure in New York.[6]
